Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has won the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for January.
The Red Devils stopper made a league-high 22 saves last month – five more than anyone else.
De Gea has been rewarded with the Player of the Month trophy as well as a special in-form card on EA Sports’ FIFA 22.
He played a crucial role as Man Utd ended January with back-to-back wins in the Premier League. The Spaniard made eight saves in a 3-1 win at Brentford, before keeping his only clean sheet of the month in a last-gasp 1-0 victory at home to West Ham.
United have managed to break back into the top four and that is partly down to the strong performances of De Gea, who has once again been their saviour this season.
