The Arnold Clark Cup takes place across seven days in February 2022, as four of the world’s top international teams descend on England for the maiden edition of the invitational tournament.

With three European powerhouses and the Olympic champions involved, all ranked in FIFA’s top 10, the competition will not only showcase some of the best players in world football, but also provide a taste of what to expect from three of the contenders going into Euro 2022 in summer.

Here’s everything you need to know about the 2022 Arnold Clark Cup.

The Arnold Clark Cup takes place between 17 – 23 February 2022.

The fixtures take place across three matchdays: Thursday 17, Sunday 20 and Wednesday 23 February. Each game day consists of a double header at the same stadium.

Host nation England are taking part in the 2022 Arnold Clark Cup alongside Spain, Germany and Canada.

Canada head into the tournament following a sparkling 2021, as they took home Olympic gold in Tokyo under the guidance of former England assistant manager Bev Priestman.

In this tournament, Germany are the highest ranked team in the FIFA World rankings, currently sitting third in the global standings, while the spine of the Spain squad is made up of players from Barcelona‘s illustrious 2020/21 Champions League winning side.

The Arnold Clark Cup is being played at three venue across England; the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough, Norwich’s Carrow Road and Molineux in Wolverhampton.

Germany versus Spain and England against Canada will take place at the Riverside, Carrow Road will host England versus Spain and Germany versus Canada, and the tournament will conclude with Spain against Canada and England versus Germany at Molineux.

All six matches will be broadcast on terrestrial TV in the UK, while TV deals to show the tournament have also been struck in Canada, Germany, Spain and the USA.
