Inter favourites to sign Paulo Dybala – XenBet

Serie A giants Inter have emerged as firm favourites to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, 90min understands.

However, news that broke in Italy on Tuesday evening that Dybala had ‘agreed’ to join I Nerrazzurri has been rubbished by the player’s agent who stated: “The player is exclusively focused on the end of the season, the league and the Coppa Italia final. No agreement has been reached with any team in Italy or abroad at this time.”

90min understand that, despite an agreement not being reached yet, Inter are now the clear frontrunners in the race to sign the Argentine. Inter are pushing extremely hard to get a deal over the line for Dybala, and the player is said to be impressed by the club’s efforts.

The Argentine forward is set to leave his current Juventus as a free agent this summer after failing to come to terms on a new deal.

Dybala had been in talks with Juventus over an extension and even agreed on a new five-year contract worth €8m per year before Christmas. However, after those terms were altered by Juve at the last minute due to the forward’s patchy injury record, talks collapsed.

Chelsea takeover: Todd Boehly ‘to enter exclusive talks’

Todd Boehly has entered exclusive talks over the purchase of Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.

As reported last week, Dybala’s representatives recently held talks with Inter, who see the forward as a perfect replacement for Lautaro Martinez.

90min understand that Lautaro is looking increasingly likely to leave the club and Inter have begun to plan for the eventuality that he will be sold. The Inter forward is of interest to Atletico Madrid, Arsenal and Tottenham – all of whom held talks with the player’s agents last year and have remained in contact since. The player prefers a move to England, but is open to joining La Liga.
